4. High Point Gun & Bow Holder For Tree Stand
Gun & Bow
⚙ Main Specifications
- Dimensions: 5 W x 16.4 L x 2 H
- Material: Aluminum
- Weight: 0.5 pounds
★Why You Choose This Gun Holder
- Holds crossbows, shotguns, and rifles
- Secures firearm with rubber boot
- Quick-release lever makes it easy to deploy and stow
- Compatible with 1-inch and 3/4-inch square tubing
✔ Pros
- Sturdy and secure when mounted with screws
- Holds a variety of weapons, including rifles and crossbows
- Keeps weapons out of the way inside the stand
- Provides more room inside the stand
❌ Cons
- Can be difficult to mount without drilling holes in the stand
- Keeps weapons in the way of your arm, which could lead to accidental knocks
- Not as secure as a mount that attaches to the inside of the stand
The product works as expected, but it can be easily knocked off the holder if you are not careful. To prevent this, I recommend drilling 2 holes in your stand and using the bolts that come with the holder to secure it in place. This will make it much more sturdy and less likely to fall off.
I also recommend tying a light rope on the back of the sling strap so that if the rifle or crossbow does fall, it will be pointed down and will not hit the ground. This will help to prevent damage to your weapon.
I left the bottom of the clamps that come with the holder off because I did not want them to interfere with the movement of my arm. However, if you are concerned about the holder coming loose, you can leave the clamps on.
Overall, I am happy with this product. But I would caution them to be careful not to knock the weapon off of the holder.
